DWARF LINE
Dwarf rats are the result of gene mutation that inhibits their growth, a dwarf rat is 40-75% smaller then an average rat. I will be working with solid colour based lines with Dumbo/Standard ears and in Rex/Standard coats. Everything about the dwarf rat is the same as a regular sized rat just in a smaller package, but due to their smaller size they are quicker and more delicate so I would not recommend this variety for small children. Dwarf rats are more difficult to breed, and because of their size the litters are very small averaging around 2-4 babies, they are also known for being infertile or having false pregnancies. With a higher risk of birthing complications I will only breed a female once. This all being said most of my dwarfs will either be staying here with me or going to other ratteries I work with so if you are interested in this variety I advise you to get on our waiting list in advance
EUROPEAN ROAN LINE
European roans are a variety that fade to white throughout the lifetime of the rat. Starting out with a white blaze and under belly with a solid colour running across their back and sides looking like a blazed berkshire, they are preferred to have straight symmetrical markings and a wedge shaped blaze. Their colour will start out solid but at about 4-6 weeks they start to roan, meaning that with each moult their colour will start to fade and "silver" with new white hairs growing in the place of the old coloured ones, the slower the colour fades out the better especially if you have a light coloured roan. These unique rats can be bred in any colour but the darker the colours are preferred as it takes longer for it to fade out.
European Roans can also be referred to as European Huskies but should NOT be confused with the North American Huskies that carry the Mega colon gene, European Roans DO NOT carry this gene. I am starting my European roan line with SITH ratteries show winning roan line which can be seen here. On her site you can also find more interesting information about roans and the lines we are working with, I will be breeding these guys in Dumbo/Standard ears and in Rex/Standard coats. If you are interested in this variety please contact me and i will put you down on my waiting list.

AUSTRALIAN CINNAMON
These guys are just awesome when they get their first color as babies they look fawn and as they molt out their baby coats they get their beautiful cinnamon color most times they look like they have a hat on their head (hehe). They have black eyes and their adult coats are more reddish and bright then American or UK cinnamons. markings can vary in the line I am working with but most are self or hooded in dumbo and standard ears, all smooth coats so far. if you are interested in this variety please contact me and I will put you on a wait list.
I will be working with more lines in the future but for right now these are the only 3 i will have available. With the 2 lines i will have dwarf carriers and roan carriers available, meaning they will be a normal sized solid coloured rats that wont lose his/her colour.
